\nVirgina and Chris<\/strong> are a wonderful Australian couple who fell in love with Langhe area few years ago in occasion of an enogastronomic vacation.
\nAt that time they had the pleasure to discover wonderful food and wine this area could offer but not only!
\nVines hills and Alps at the back are such amazing landscape to remember forever so when they decided to get married there was no doubt! A Country side wedding in Piemonte Langhe area!<\/p>\n

\"jazz-band-country-wedding-Italy\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Virginia has got style!
\nSo with Chris decided to give a real touch of glamour to their special event in Italy.
\nVirginia and Chris’ wedding is the demonstration that a country wedding could have lot of style and be very glamour!<\/p>\n

\"countryside-wedding-in-Italy\"<\/a><\/p>\n

For their guests they decided for a week end full of event.
\nA special accommodation in a wonderful country Relais on the hills, a wine tasting in a wine cellar for the day before of the wedding and a fantastic wedding on 26 of September 2009.<\/p>\n

\"wedding-in-Alba\"<\/a><\/p>\n

For their civil ceremony they opted for a lovely country village called Diano d’Alba close to famous town of Alba<\/strong>.
\nThe town hall is a real jewel like many of the town halls in the country. They are usually ancient villas with frescoes on the ceilings and appealing facade.
\nVirginia walked on the aisle with a lounge song played on a vintage LP while Chris’ sister accompanied the ceremony with some songs she composed for the event. She is a songwriter in Australia.<\/p>\n

For their reception Virginia and Chris decided for a stunning venue on one of the highest point of the valley.
\nThe panorama from here is just amazing!
\nIt is a Cascina<\/strong> well known in the area because was the Cascina where Resistance during second world war used to hide.<\/p>\n

Now it has been totally renewed and it hosts inside a very good and fine restaurant, some room for accommodation and a wellness centre\/SPA.
\nThe rooms of this wonderful venues are really glamour and trendy but still very warm and conformable.<\/p>\n

In order to match this great style decided for a minimal style for wedding decorations and arrangements all based on white<\/strong>.
\nHow to forget Virginia’s dress. It was really original making her appear like a real model! She just looked like a swan.<\/p>\n

A great jazz band was the background for the aperitif and the same bad made them dance up to very late at night!<\/p>\n
