T<\/span>oday I wish to talk to you about the wedding of Ulrike and Joshua a lovely couple coming from US. Ulrike is originally from Germany and Joshua comes from Us. They decided to tie the knot in Italy in late September with a romantic wedding in San Galgano, Tuscany<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

They wanted to have a small wedding just with family and close friends and they chose a gorgeous small villa called Il Noceto<\/em> near Siena<\/a> in gorgeous Tuscany.<\/p>\n

The villa is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse<\/strong> made of stones. It has been perfectly restored respecting to the original design. It is located 500 meters from small village of Montalcinello, along a typical path through the beautiful Tuscan countryside in a dominant position. What a perfect view for a romantic wedding in San Galgano, Tuscany!

A Symbolic wedding ceremony in a Tuscan Villa<\/h2>\n

Ulrike and Joshua decided for romantic symbolic wedding ceremony at the villa. We planned it in the early afternoon in the lush garden, facing the rolling hills of Tuscany: a marvellous landscape.
\nThe wedding ceremony was simply decorated in traditional Tuscany style<\/em> with olive branches and garden white flowers<\/strong>. Ceremony was performed by Jo Bertolino<\/strong> from Tuscan Pledges<\/a> with the background of the romantic sound of a violin.

Wedding in San Galgano: photo session at the \u201cAbbey without the roof\u201d in Tuscany<\/h2>\n

After their wedding ceremony bride and groom walked to one of the most beautiful spots of Tuscany. They reached San Galgano abbey<\/strong> to have their wedding pictures.
\nSan Galgano is an ancient abbey. Apart of being stunning, it is famous as \u201cthe abbey without the roof<\/strong>\u201d. It is the first gothic church built in Tuscany<\/strong>, by the Cistercian monks as a sign of the popularity of Saint Galgano cult. Unfortunately the nearby lands were devastated by mercenary bands and, at the end of the 15th century, monks moved to Siena. In 1787, a lightning struck the bell tower, which collapsed onto the roof and after a few years the church was deconsecrated.
\nHowever it still remains a piece of art. A wonderful spot for your Romantic Wedding in San Galgano, Tuscany.<\/p>\n

A wedding reception overlooking Tuscany hills<\/h2>\n

In the meanwhile guests were having a cocktail waiting for the wedding couple\u2019s arrival back at the villa.
\nOnce Ulrike and Joshua arrived, appetisers buffet was opened.
\nWe organised it on a terrace with a beautiful pergola facing the valley with a stunning view over Tuscany hills at sunset.
\nWedding aperitif buffet was rich of delicious typical Tuscan delicatessen<\/strong> and everything was accompanied by the music of an Italian band with accordion and guitar. It was so, very Italian style!<\/p>\n

We planned wedding reception seated dinner inside the villa salon. We designed for the room elegant fairy lights display hanging from the wood beam. It gave the reception room a warm and romantic atmosphere.
\nA big long table was decorated with a long ivy runner with gold and glass candles. It was very elegant yet simple like Ulrike wanted it.
\nOn the napkin we placed an elegant menu with a feather. It symbolised the groom\u2019s hobby. He is a hunter. A perfect set up for a romantic wedding in Sal Galgano, Tuscany.<\/p>\n

We planned the cutting of the cake on the terrace overlooking Tuscan hills<\/strong>. The cake was an Italian millefeuille filled with wild berries. It was decorated with ivy, flowers and gold candles.<\/p>\n

A wedding toast and after that the party could begin! \u2028It\u2019s been a relaxed, elegant and fun wedding full of joy and happiness. It was the real essence of a destination wedding in Italy: a romantic wedding in San Galgano, Tuscany.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
