A Winter Wedding on Piemonte Alps – Sestriere

While we are enjoying our Summer month it could be a good occasion seeing some options for a Winter Wedding in Italy.
Winter months could be a great occasion to plan a snow wedding in Italy and share a wonderful mountain holiday with your family and friends to a ski mountain resort.

This month we would love to tell you about Lucinda and Stephen’s wedding we planned in March 2014 in Sestriere on Piemonte Alps.
Sestriere is a famous ski destination – Via Lattea compound is one of the biggest ski slopes compound in Europe and many people from all over the word come here to enjoy ski slopes and winter activities the village offers – skating, dog sleighs, helicopter rides over the mountains, walks in the snow etc.

Lucinda and Stephen came here to celebrate their marriage.
They chose a wonderful luxury hotel by the slopes for their ceremony and reception.
Wooden interiors and crystal details to match the winter atmosphere you can breath in Sestriere.

Bride got ready in one of the big rooms of the hotel as Groom and his med did too.
They also took the chance to have a little walk and some outdoor drinks before the ceremony.
Stephen was really handsome in his black velvet suit with red details.

Lucinda wanted white and red flowers for her decorations.
She opted for white lilies and roses with some red roses too.
The winter touch was give by pines branches and feathers matching Lucinda’s wedding dress details.

Ceremony was planned inside one of the rooms of the hotel and aperitif to follow in the main bar, decorated with pearls, sparkling crystals, synthetic furs and fairy lights.
Winter atmosphere was simply perfect.

While guests were enjoying a rich aperitif with canapés and Italian Prosecco Lucinda and Stephen took the chance to have a little walk in the snow.
Just the two of them to enjoy privare moments in a spectacular snow environment.
Lucinda wore a white cape, she was just stunning and joyful.

Once back to the hotel is time for some group photos with bridal party.

Everything is ready for a gourmand reception inside Hotel main restaurant.
Top table was placed by the wide windows. Alps where just there to witness a great party.
Stephen wanted a real Italian meal with many courses and rich tastes. He has Italian heritage and he shared with Lucinda a great passion for Italian cuisine and wines.

After the cutting of the cake the party could start.
A fun dj set and dances up to late at night closed a great event by the mountain.
A fun winter wedding in Italy that all guests will remember for a long time.
They are all ready to come back to enjoy once again Sestriere and its ski slopes!
